🚀 Enhance Engine Performance with the Airaid 310-618 PowerAid Throttle Body Spacer Review

Easy to install and function as intended. Expect a smoother idle and better throttle response. Don't expect a big HP boost. I feel bad grades are people with unrealistic expectations.

First, no spacer was included. Secondly, it cannot be called a "brace". It only adds 0.18 inch - 4.7 mm to the throttle body. It also narrows the intake manifold. Inside diameter up to 2.5 inch - 63 mm. This narrows it down to 2.18 inches - 55mm. Let's move on to testing in the real world. No increase or decrease in MPG. Tested with Scangauge II. Performance increases are not noticeable. After all, this is a nice paperweight.

I drove a week with this throttle body spacer. There isn't a huge difference, but there is. Mileage per gallon increased by 2mpg and in terms of performance I noticed a difference in how my truck pulled my trailer. If you are looking for something to add a little extra to your truck I would recommend this. If you're looking for a dramatic increase, buy a bigger truck. I would also like to add that this is a very easy install that literally took me 7 minutes from start to finish.

Not sure how good it is for gas. It was very cold and there was snow on the ground every day, so I started the car to warm it up when I wasn't driving for a few days. Makes it impossible to check mileage. However, I have a much quicker response when I step on the gas pedal. Shifting seems tighter, not sure if that helped. Pickup is much better in the beginning.
