Not easy to install and buggy

Bought these for extra lighting in my partially completed basement used for laundry. Although the light itself is quite bright and has been working well since installation, here are a few things to note.1. Installation instructions are almost non-existent2. The mounting bracket does not have holes that match the standard junction box, so you must either drill holes in the bracket or mount it on the side of the box.3. There are no wires included, I had to take a piece of 14/2 Romex and strip it…

Started great, finished early

I used this light to replace the bare bulb main light that the owner installed in our kitchen and I can't believe I did waited so long for it. So. I've installed more complex jigs in the past, so I have a bit of knowledge, but I'm by no means a pro. I think this may have been one of the easiest and quickest installs I've ever done. The instructions were clear and correct enough that I think anyone could install one of these units with just a little knowledge of basic electrical procedures…

Excellent light, but not intended for the US

This is an attractive, inexpensive fixture suitable for corridors, stairways, restrooms and similar spaces. It delivers a lot of light for its 18 watts. Buyers should be aware that this is an international product, not intended for the US market. It is operated with AC voltages from 100 to 277 V. It is not UL listed (but has a CE mark to indicate compliance with European Economic Area standards). Works great - Nice and bright - However part of the instructions is not very clear

I installed it today and the only thing that confused me was at step 3 (I attached a picture of the instructions) , I couldn't get my two wires (ground and live wire) to clip them into the bracket. That was until my wife experimented with this and realized that in step 3 the two tabs needed to be pulled up 90 degrees instead of 30 degrees to fully open the hole. Then, when it's fully open, insert the live wire and the ground wire (which has been stripped) into the two tubes. Then close the two…
