Bought 2 of these pumps for various vehicles with Edelbrock 1405 and 1406 carburetors. This pump is ideal for these applications with regulator @ 4.5-5.5 lbs square inch. A little vibration in both cases, but nothing, a little rubber isolation won't fix it.

Product shown has a hose attachment option that bolts to the pump. Not with the one who came. The pump I received has plastic hose fittings that cannot be removed and modified to suit your needs. garbage

This pump has been driven about 1000 miles on an old Dodge van. So far no problem. My only complaint is that the bracket didn't hold the pump housing tight (it just slipped out). I added a rubber bushing and all is good. Addendum: 6000 miles and the pump still works perfectly.

I used this along with a small sealed lead acid pump (also purchased from Revain) to bleed my boat's fuel tank after wintering. I have an inboard Mercruiser so draining the tank is a bit of a hassle. But this fuel pump made it very, very easy. Just remove the sensor from the tank, plug in the inlet connector of this little pump and voila.

I am using (after some downtime) float bowls on a Ford 4100 carburetor (4 bbl) but the pressure can be too high for the float. So just pump for about 5-10 seconds or get the 4psi version of the 8016th inch. If you need a 90 degree elbow to better fit the hose, purchase a brass 1/8" M x 1/8" F NPT at a hardware store. .I think mine came with two hose nipples which you will need, I think they dropped them. The clamp is too loose, you need to wrap the filter in something to make it tight.

Very glad I chose this option for my car over the larger crankcase/canister pumps often found on older American cars.
