Positively surprised!

The knife feels very good in the hand and I'm surprised how easily the design affects my everyday use. It seemed stable and stayed sharp longer than other knives I've used. Like the design. It's like my main knife. Definitely recommend

I like it! for cutlery and accessories for knives

I needed a new knife but I wanted something more aesthetic. Overall, in terms of value for money, it's a good knife with a good grip and a stylish, minimalist design, and I think it's well worth the price so far. We'll have to see how longevity will be, but it feels sturdy and durable so I don't think it will be an issue.

Can be good at home

First of all, this knife is light! That would be a disadvantage for some tasks in the kitchen, but not for my use. It's surprisingly light for its length. The balance isn't my favorite, the grip is heavy and too springy. I like the thin blade but not the suspension. Finally, blade durability is ridiculous for a knife in this price range, especially when it comes to PM steel. It had an average edge after 1520 minutes of sharpening. I work in a sushi restaurant and I know how to sharpen a knife…

Pros
  • Hands-free work
Cons
  • Sad device

This knife is worth every penny of its price

I was skeptical about ordering this because I had never heard of Hast (Startup) and $100 is a lot for a new brand chef's knife. However, I had to replace a chef's knife that had let me down and wanted something good this time. That's good, and then something else. Straight out of the box it's razor sharp, sharp enough to shave with. But what really sets this chef's knife apart is its perfect weight and balance. I thought the picture of him balancing on rocks was fake, but it might actually be…

Instant Chef Knife Winner

I am very impressed with this perfect chef's knife. When I use it the cuts are so precise and crisp and leave no dents. Simply pulling through the food will cut it. If you look directly at it you can see how thin the blade is, but there is absolutely no curvature. Definitely not a knife for beginners. I can maneuver with precision and my control is absolute. With the long handle, my grip feels very comfortable and natural. Everything is one whole, so there is nowhere for bacteria to find a safe

  • Ugly Packaging

Back to Drawing Board with Handle

This Hast knife is sharp and of course you can use it to cut food. So why only two stars? Well, there are only a few things a knife should do: cut and provide a comfortable and secure grip. Unfortunately, this knife stumbles over the latter. My wife says that to hold the knife in a way that provides the right balance during use, she takes the solid metal handle at the end of the blade. But the handle there is very narrow, the top and bottom edges of the handle put concentrated pressure on her…

Oh my god, that's a lot of chrome.

An interesting combination of steels if I've ever seen one. HAST knives (blade) are made of patented matrix powder steel [Fe (77.45%), Cr (20.0%), Ni (2.0%), C (0.45%). , S&P(0.1%)] According to their answer in the question section. It is clear that these blades achieve their hardness from the extreme chromium content. Interestingly, no matter where I looked, I couldn't find a patent for the supposedly "patented" steel anywhere. I've been looking for what they call haste, the cooking club…

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
