Just got back from a 2600 mile trip to South Korea and back (actually 2642 miles). This thing was a cheaper and faster alternative to the hitch on my 2011 Toyota Sienna. It worked so well, no problems. I attached it to the back of the van in under two minutes and we had two large bikes on it. An added bonus, it's very quick and easy to remove. Bought to carry 3 adult bikes (2 female, 1 male) but not sure I can fit all 3. I have placed two adult bikes but it would be difficult to place a third. Bike carrier for three bikes is not very heavy. It came assembled and easily attached to the trunk of my car (Nissan Tiida 2008). I've had this unit for a few minutes and have moved a variety of bikes from large mountain bikes that weigh a quarter ton to smaller road bikes that weigh next to nothing. he is doing well. UPDATE! While we were not happy with the original rack we received, we were incredibly impressed with Allen's customer service. They asked for some photos which we provided.
