Feels brand new, brand new item for gas cap

This new gas cap fits my JK Wrangler OEM cap perfectly. The spring tension was harder than my worn out cap that lasted 100,000 miles and then leaked. This new cover cleared the check engine code very quickly. Buy this cap if you own a JK Wrangler.

Really great for something that doesn't work at all...don't buy

Bought this 3 months ago hoping it would fix my check engine light issue (minor gasket leak). Instead I now have 2 issues: a small gasket leak and my gas cap sensor won't turn off indicating a problem with this new gas cap (it wasn't a problem until I bought this new one). Also I can't return such a useless product and a waste of money.

Emission control failed!

I don't know if this is a one-off defect, but this part failed the gas tank test during the scheduled health check. The check engine light didn't go off (otherwise I wouldn't have gone to the TÜV). Although just outside the return window - Revain agreed to accept the return - Yay Revain! Also - just found an ordered "Really Mopar" OEM cap for only a few dollars more on another site. You decide whether it costs 2-3 dollars or not.

Smaller than Mech for spares

Update: Buying anything else sucks. it is not strong. I wasn't expecting much and was still disappointed. It's already cracked and broken into 5 pieces that won't stick together. I do not recommend. (It's a gas cap. It was easy to install - click the latch and screw it in. It doesn't feel very strong. It doesn't "click" when closed like the factory cap. Everything came together and after 2 months is still alive and well.)

I hope this works, the label does not match the description on the product.

The product description says it fits Jeep - 2003-2018 Wrangler JK, 2003-2006 Wrangler TJ but as you can see on the product sticker it says 2003 to 2006. My Jeep is 2007 as long as it fits perfectly I believe not that I'll have any problems (I hope not). Good product for the price if it actually works as advertised. if it was temporary because it was installed the day before****

Crashing in my 2012 Wrangler

This was fixed as I was having intermittent problems with the check engine light with evaporative code and found a leak in the "very small leak" system. The local mechanic says to change the gas cap. I replaced it and two weeks later the problem still occurs but now an additional "GASCAP" warning appears on the in-cab display. I check and the gas cap is fully open. Now it's oddly delayed and immediately after the codes are cleared the "GASCAP" light comes on. I erase the code and put the old…
