Strong as Superman on steering and suspension tools

I'm doing my second front end repair now with this kit 46. I have an electric coupe. They will not let you down when used. I managed to bend the receiving cup because the ball joint was too small and I was too impatient. Otherwise I pulled or pushed ball joints, bushings, tie rods and the rest to rebuild the front end. Do not use AC power. clamp! Spend money on it and on your health. None of us want a tool that shoots metal at us when it fails, and PowerBuild seems built not for performance…

Pros
  • Service Kit: Most domestic and import RWD vehicles
Cons
  • I'll write later

Great tool set!

Replacing ball joints is easy with this tool kit! I use this set to do ball joints on jeeps about once a week (meaning I use the same adapters all the time) and it holds up great. I used it to remove some of the ball joints that were suffering from corrosion and this set has definitely made my life easier. The ONLY minor complaint that has become a joke in my garage is that they put the product sticker on the wrong side of the plastic case. While it sounds petty, whoever opened it, sometimes…

Great buy for the price

Just replaced upper and lower ball joints on my 03 Durango. This kit is ideal for the weekend mechanic who needs to service several family members' cars at an attractive price. The number of adapters makes it easy to find the right combination to get the job done with almost anything (although I've heard that Honda's require additional adapters that aren't included in this kit). The C-clip is strong and held up well to my impact (don't forget to lube it!). I can't imagine how this thing bends…

Pros
  • Removal and installation of press-fit ball joints found on most vehicles
Cons
  • No instructions

This set is great, but you need more to be successful.

Works great, use with a ball joint press tool kit that looks like a giant C clip and comes with adapter washers and cups. Taurus made in 2000. In fact, the push and pull was easy, the real work is to remove the steering knuckle (hub holder) from the car, which is indispensable. Another reviewer did this without removing it, but it still requires the axle to be pulled out of the hub and the car must be big enough to fit under the press from underneath. This may mean lifting rather than jacking…

Pros
  • Includes step-by-step instructions for use.
Cons
  • Clarity.
