They buy ball joint and tie rod tools and smile at them

There are 2 of these sets, one for 4WD the other for normal cars and trucks. I needed a ball joint kit that fits Ford 4WD vehicles. After calling Revain customer service, a retired mechanic helped me choose. Finding the right adapters + receivers took longer than changing my sister's ball joints, it's my fault because it was my first time. If you need to replace your 4x4+ ball joints and don't want to go to your local auto parts store every month to rent a kit, this is your best bet.

Pros
  • Manufactured to be the most reliable tools on the market today
Cons
  • Clarity

It worked!: Steering and suspension tools

Bought this kit for my 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 and it took me a little MacGyvering to get the job done get done This kit needs to come with a really solid piece of flat metal that I need to complete my ball joint replacement. That being said the product appears to be well made and better yet I haven't had any issues with the C-clip which is usually a problem with ball joint service kits and it did the job. My only complaint would be that the case could have been done better, but that's no big deal,

Pros
  • Tool kit for removing and replacing press-fit ball joints and U-joints
Cons
  • Available in white only

Medium high quality, reasonable price

I used this kit to replace ball joints on my 2001 Ford F250 Super Duty. The instructions included in the kit may be difficult for those with limited mechanical knowledge. I had to use an impact wrench instead of a broken rod to get my ball joints to come out of the holes and to my pleasant surprise the C-clamp push/pull device could withstand up to thousands of pounds of pressure. If he can replace Ford Superduty ball joints, he won't break a sweat with any smaller car. I only gave it 4 stars…

Pros
  • Kit 72 contains 10 parts for removing and installing ball joints and crosses
Cons
  • Not all will fit

Makes your job so much easier

Sturdy and with lots of adaptors, this kit is just what I needed. In 1997-1999 I made my living from cars, and we had a similar one, but I don't remember the brand. Now I work on cars for the hobby and helping friends so I needed a good kit with as many adapters as I could find for the "hobby" price. For the real pros, you can check out the snap-on kit that covers 96% of all vehicles BUT costs over $500. I wanted durability plus value. I researched for two weeks and this kit was my choice…

Pros
  • Storage case includes usage photos
Cons
  • Not bad
