I bought a Schlage Century Satin Nickel Connect Smart Lock with Alarm and Latitude Handle and wanted a matching liftgate door handle. I researched the snake and it must have been over 80.00 for the castle! I found this and for about $35 (both the handle and the latch) I got AMAZING quality that looks almost like a replica and has some weight! Once installed the handles look great and the process is relatively painless. However, out of the 6 sets I bought, one pen arrived without being fully finished. I didn't notice it at first because it was set up as a handle in a dressing room, but when I pulled hard the handle popped out every now and then. On closer inspection, it turned out that the section that was supposed to be processed from the inside is missing. Too bad it's been a little over a year since I bought it.

I hesitated to buy it without having seen it in person but decided to give it a chance because of the price. It was a great purchase! I love the sleek, minimalist look and the sturdy handle. Installed 7 door handles in 30 minutes. Installation was so easy I didn't even have to read the instructions. Time will tell if the matte black will chip but considering they are replacing 15 year old chipped gold handles I think this is an issue with every door handle on the market.

I bought this because it was cheaper than Schlage Dexter lever (budget). The look is very similar, and it's a few dollars cheaper. I believe it's actually stronger than the Schlage version of the doorknob. However, I have a problem: the door handle sometimes does not return to its original position and remains slightly tilted down. Most of the time it returns to its original position but that should be taken into account and I suspect this is because the springs in the lever are not as strong…

I like the simple design with clean lines compared to other levers that were ornate in their design. My existing lever had a different hole for the latch mechanism, which required enlarging the hole, which was the biggest problem as it's not easy to enlarge a hole and already drill it, but I found a suggestion on how to do it with makes two hole saws into each other. I probably spend about $10,000 a year at stores like Home Depot or Lowe's. And they often have what I need at great prices. But as for the equipment. Rails, door handles, doorknobs, drawer handles, etc. Prices are ridiculous! Also, most home center designs are fairly traditional. I bought 2 of these doorknobs and they were great. I wouldn't have been able to install this for my very first doorknob if I hadn't gone on YouTube and seen 2 or 3 people sharing their tips. It takes more than reading this little booklet for a person to open a doorknob for the first time.
