For the price, I expected the door handle to be less durable. I was pleasantly surprised that this isn't just another cheap door knob. It comes with all the hardware for any door configuration, including a variety of panel sizes and shapes. This door knob went to the van - I needed a bathroom lock that was easy to pick. If you are looking for a durable brushed nickel door handle, this is your guy!

Replaced a broken rear door handle kit. Since it was a replacement, installation was a breeze. Deleted old, installed new. A nagging complaint is that the screws match the knob, making it difficult to screw in (need to screw in at an angle), but every set I've ever installed has been like this. I don't know if it could be. Smooth operation, works well, that's all I can say about it.

The internal mechanism has two positions for the door handle to slide. One deeper in the door and another outside. I suppose they designed it to be more customizable. However, if the knob hole in your door doesn't align with either of these two locations and is closer to the center, the knob won't turn. They tried to be smart and turned out to be stupid. Just use a normal old school pen.

I bought this to replace the original handle in my 1958 house. The old handle didn't require as much drilling as the newer options from kwikset, Schlage and others, and given the shape of the veneer on the door I didn't want to risk ruining it to make the hole bigger and being crammed in. Another home renovation project , which I'm working on, not finished yet. Thankfully, this replacement door handle fits perfectly and works great.

This door knob is VERY easy to install. Luckily I just did a full swap but the instructions were easy to follow. With a new installation you will receive a measuring template; I looked it up and it seemed very easy to understand and use as well. You get two keys that go together and we had no trouble using them. The stolen bronze is such a beautiful colour; It's also a matte finish that looks modern and stylish at the same time.

When I opened it I initially thought the doorknob would not fit as our doorknobs had a round lock facet while this one had a rectangular plate. This product could be sooooo much better. However, it was cheap and all I needed from him was to keep my front door closed so I could bolt it. How it is. The handle fell apart twice during assembly, I had an incredible amount of time to put the screws together and after the 20th attempt I almost screamed to put it back together, but in the end it worked. This is a regular door knob at an unbeatable price. It's also well packaged with good instructions including a template for cutting out a door if you don't have a core. I've already taken care of this, but it was nice to know that there is more help available. The set itself is pretty solid, but the handles do rattle a bit. Not a big deal, especially considering the price, but worth mentioning. Everything sits flush with the wood which is always a plus - my old knobs had a slight millimeter gap
