Plug and play directly to previous bulb socket

2010 Dodge Ram. Installed in 10 minutes. I screwed the resistor to the truck so it wouldn't come loose, it hid well behind it. The new light bulb is inserted into the old socket. It took me a minute to figure out what "plug and play" meant.

AMAZING LIGHTS! EASY INSTALLATION ON RAM

Excellent product - lighting and accessories

The packaging is good. OEM wiring harnesses screwed in easily. The holes matched the body well. One thing I suggest is getting some plastic taillight clips (grommets). My truck is 2012 and when I removed the passenger side the clips broke. My driver's side was fine, but it seems plastic tends to weaken in all weathers. This has nothing to do with the installed taillights. This is exactly what I am proposing, which is not included in the taillights. All the lights and LEDs look great.

plug and play Answer - Remove the bulb from the socket and plug and play in the same place.

Took me a minute to figure it out. Plug and play means removing the lightbulb from the socket, now you take a new plug and put it in the lightbulb socket from which you removed the lightbulb. Now glue or screw the rectangular black box to the bulkhead on the inside of the truck taillight housing and screw the same bulb to the underside of the new taillight housing. Now slide the taillight into the truck and screw it on. Remove the bulb and insert the new plug into the bulb socket. That is the…
