I doubt these pieces contain cobalt at all.

With the right technique, speed, and lubrication, I was able to drill three holes in 3/16 inch thick steel with a 1/4 inch drill bit. The first hole went quite well, the second hole took significantly longer and the third hole took about 5 minutes. I doubt I'll be able to drill another hole in her no matter how much time I spend on it. I first drilled a 1/8" pilot hole before using a 1/4" bit. To be honest, the performance I've seen with this drill is worse than what I expected from a regular…

Good price in a good set of bits.

I use them quite often in my daily work. I bought 2 sets and use them to poke holes in broken bolts and enlarge them to get them out of a bolt hole with a variety of pullers. I start with smaller bits and gradually increase the size of the bits before using the extractor. After drilling I use milling cutters to remove more metal from the screw depending on screw size and size/type of extractor. The drill bits work well since I'm working with steel bolts. I broke off a few tips and changed a few

WHEN DRILLING THROUGH A STAINLESS ENVIRONMENT: Based on years of experience, to drill stainless steel or other high density metals, you need to move slowly and with great pressure. First hit the metal with a center punch to create a nub guide. Start with a small piece first, like 1/8" or 9/64" if possible to make things easier. Then slowly push down on the drill bit until it starts to gnaw through the metal. If you start seeing spiraling, wavy coils of metal coming out, DO IT RIGHT! If you see…
