Very nice, great price

This is a really good lanyard. Wood 3/4" thick, pure softwood with a straight grain. I'll bet it's spruce, but it could be pine or fir. The skin is excellent, very dense texture on the front, very short pile on the flesh. The size is large.enough for any knife or woodworking tool I have.I know you can make them yourself but at this price and quality of material I don't see why I would..only good to avoid splinters Then is it's good to go. This is a beauty compared to my other slings!

Take these. I relied heavily on caring for leather to keep my knives very sharp and used about half a dozen different styles and brands. This one surpasses them all in more ways than one. First, it's wider than most. My others are all 1.5 to 2 inches wide. While I have other 3x8" lines, none of my paddle lines are that wide. So it's kind of the best of both worlds. Useful tool for sharpening knives!

I love this leather strap. It's very similar to what I did many years ago. These straps do a very good job of making a knife made of good steel razor sharp. They also make your knife easier to maintain, as just a few pulls of the strap rejuvenate the knife blade into a sharp condition. I use green grinding paste.
