Take these. I relied heavily on caring for leather to keep my knives very sharp and used about half a dozen different styles and brands. This one surpasses them all in more ways than one. I love this leather strap. It's very similar to what I did many years ago. These straps do a very good job of making a knife made of good steel razor sharp. They also make your knife easier to maintain, as just a few pulls of the strap rejuvenate the knife blade into a sharp condition. I use green grinding paste.
