Insufficient power for converter

The declared amplifiers are not included. Make sure your project doesn't require all of the advertised amps or you will be disappointed.

Pros
  • Trial period for one year
Cons
  • Slightly dented

nice to have for projects

The ones used so far worked fine - be careful when you break them (they were connected, two wide and five long), I carefully cut them first

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Modern

Works great but doesn't reverse

Accidentally mixed up earth and +5 on my first one - regulator and attached microcontroller fried. Works like a champ when properly connected!

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • High price

Works like a clock

3.3 volts is what you need for WiFi esp8266 chips, but what if the relay and other devices are 5 volts? What to do. Use a 5 volt power supply and use these step down voltage regulators. Great solution at a very affordable price

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • small things

No problem with 300mA

I used one with a USB power adapter to light up some DC Christmas lights that use three 4.5 volt AA batteries. At 3.3V they looked just as bright and I used them to power a 3V flickering LED candle. The USB cable had to be modified to attach this board to it and connect it to the battery compartment connect to power the candle's LED. This little board worked perfectly and delivered 2Ah/night.

Very good linear voltage regulator

These are linear voltage regulators, not buck/switching regulators. This means that when VIN is slightly higher than VOUT, they dissipate excess voltage as heat, so get hot and are not energy efficient. For example, if you use a 9 volt battery to power one of them, the regulator will get very hot, which is normal for linear regulators. However, they deliver a near-perfect 3.3 volts and only change by tens of millivolts when the load changes from 100 µA to tens of millivolts. mA if the…

  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Exorbitant price

High quality at a great price.

These small power converters are ideal for modern microcontroller projects that require both 5V and 3.3V My designs use USB power supplies which provide 5 volts to my PCBs. I power 5V devices directly from this source and use these little converters to give me 3.3V power for newer microcontrollers and other 3.3V logic parts. The converters are rated at 800 mA, which is sufficient for these purposes. Buck converters are very efficient and consume very little power. These converters are small and

Pros
  • Very good value for money

  • Vulgarity
