Good for light use. Look elsewhere if you use it regularly.

Used primarily for pocket work and light sparring. Used specifically for boxing twice a week and Thai kickboxing three days a week. Pros: - Nice gloves! (I bought Oxford blood) - These gloves are very comfortable - I use them for an hour a day 5 days a week and they still look almost new - They are easy to put on and take off without help - They are easy to wipe clean. Now for the bad. The right glove lasted less than 3 months (I'm left-handed). I bought 16 oz gloves in mid/late July. A fewโ€ฆ

Amazing value for money

I love these gloves. My boxing trainer who has been boxing for over 20 years as a fighter, trainer and matchmaker says they are great too. I wanted Hayabusa gloves that cost twice as much, but he pointed out that their dual strap system could very well be laces; the wearer can easily put on and take off these anthems. I've had them for a few weeks now and they're not showing excessive signs of wear. They still look and smell new and fresh. I love the leather material and vintage brown finishโ€ฆ

Don't change anything

I've had these gloves on a heavy bag in my garage for 6 days in a row and I can say they're great. I hit her thousands of times and took gloves off and on dozens of times. They fit snug but are light enough to slide over 137-inch wraps. The cuff is nice and long and flexible so it can be as tight or loose as you like. The padding is firm and shaped for a natural, relaxed hand position, while the thumb padding is shaped to make thumb pinching almost impossible. The only thing I changed was I cut

The beginning was difficult but I am very happy with these gloves.

[Updated 09/23/2020] The replacement gloves are in excellent condition. I continue to use them on the bag a few days a week and the gloves continue to be effective, comfortable and intact. I tried a few other gloves along the way but these gloves are by far the most comfortable pair I have and I would definitely be willing to buy another pair when they finally fit me. [Update] After contacting Anthem. Athletics, their customer service was excellent. They arranged for me to get a new pair ofโ€ฆ

Great pair of genuine leather gloves that won't break the bank

I bought these to replace my entry level Everlast faux leather gloves which were in poor condition. I only use my gloves to practice with my training manikin Bastard Bob. I would say my intensity level is usually a notch above cardio boxing since I do it primarily to burn fat and improve upper body conditioning. I usually train for 30 or 36 minutes (equivalent to 10 or 12 rounds) but no breaks. These Anthem Athletics Stormbringer 2 Gloves are pretty cute. I wanted blue but it was sold out so Iโ€ฆ
