Great value helmet, very happy with it. I bought it on credit but I use it myself a lot. Very clear, didn't flash at all. Not sure about the review claiming they got burned corneas from the helmet not working. Auto-darkening helmets block 100% of UV and IR light, even when turned off. Edit 11/20/17: I will add that the brightness of this helmet is adjustable. Here's a tip: If you see a spot floating after welding, GET DARKER.

I've been using this helmet almost every day for about 10 months now and have no complaints. You just can't beat the price and the quality you get for the price. It comes with multiple interchangeable lenses and has plenty of settings to suit what you're doing. I love being able to choose the right shade with a simple flick of a switch. Good helmet for the price. band is comfortable. Sensitivity and delay work well and the dimming range is excellent. I also like that you can turn off the fade for shredding. I mainly weld MIG in a farm shop, so the 9-13 setting works for me. I can clearly see where I'm going and the pool of sweat. I also wear glasses and this helmet is comfortable with them. Completely worthless helmet. Plastic is cheap and brittle. Any spark that touches lightly is hot enough to scratch the surface, although I'll admit it at least keeps them from hitting your skin.
