Anvil ANVktle10g Brew Kettle - 10 Gallon Capacity for Perfect Homebrews Review

High-quality workmanship and doesn't catch the eye. I have already brewed 3 batches with this kettle and this is the best purchase of brewing equipment I have ever made. I make full 5 gallon boil batches and gone are the days of worrying about every boil. It's quality at a price the consumer can bear.

My kettle arrived today. oh so excited! Quality packaging and no problems with delivery. The quality of the teapot exceeds my expectations. Assembly instructions couldn't be simpler! 2 hour leak test, not a single drop. Thermometer test with water outlet - 100% accuracy compared to digital thermometer. ONLY updated for brew temperature issues. Anvil exceeded my expectations. So far, so good! Will update my review after the first day of brewing.

When my package arrived it was obviously opened earlier, there was a nick at the top of the box and it was taped. There is also a wobble (don't know how to describe it, sort of a crunch) at the top edge of the back section, about 1 inch long, the rest of the edge is smooth. It is important to ensure that the measuring marks do not reach the bottom of the kettle! And although the lid is held by the handle in the photo, I wouldn't recommend this as the corner of the handle barely holds the lid…

Pros: beautiful. artwork. Also very durable and well made. I recently used it for a 5 gallon batch of homebrew (bag brew method). The size of the kettle was absolutely perfect for this method - I was able to use enough water without risking overflowing. The thermometer made it easy to check the temperature of the water and the valve made it easy to transfer chilled wort from the kettle to the fermenter.
