I have been using this caliper for several months and am quite happy with it. I was immediately impressed by its weight and build quality, and it ran smoothly throughout stance without the harshness that many cheap and not-so-cheap calipers exhibit today. my problem is finding a 4 inch caliper with a real dial. Most 4 inch calipers have a small knurled plug that looks a bit like an adjustment wheel but isn't really.
