This is a very good carbon filter, just run it, pour out the water to clean it first, this is a very good carbon filter I have ever used for used my fresh water tank. Aqua Clear does a great job with this product, it's easy to clean, my fish love it and so do I, and the price is great. I have been using this brand of product for over 8 years now and I love it.

Great time saver: You will receive 3 cloth bags filled with PRI. no need for zip tights or bites. The bags are approx 2"*5" in size and approx 1" thick and hold together well. Over time bags will tear which will usually need to be replaced anyway. The only negative thing I have to say is, that the seller does not have much in stock, I like to order 4 boxes at a time, these fish freaks. com

Works great! Compared to other brands, it took a little longer to rinse before inserting into the filter. This is my only complaint. They work like magic. At my 50 gallons, a bag usually lasts around 10-14 days. I use a 70 liter filter. I'd highly recommend them, but allow 10-15 minutes of rinsing before they're ready to install.

The 3 packs I ordered were very different from what originally came with the filter. It was a different size bag which appears to be cheaper. The carbon didn't seem to want to wash off. Eventually I gave up and put it in a filter and it released tons of tiny bubbles for a very long time. I've never seen this before. I'm sure it's ok, but given that you're paying a lot more than if you just pack it yourself, that's a little disappointing. The reason I bought it was because the ones that came…
