Not as advertised at Fish & Aquatic Pets

This product does not "shine" as advertised. It's not even black, it's gray with colored pebbles. I would like to come back, but he is already in the aquarium.

Ship before it freezes

I love this product, have used it several times. Remember that bacteria will die if the biosubstrate freezes, so don't leave it outside after delivery. Also make sure the bag is still vacuum sealed. If punctured, the water can drain and the battery will dry out when all the water is gone. In addition, very stable grain and excellent color.

Decent but very low luster

I used a bioactive and inert black diamond substrate to set up a new 20 gallon freshwater aquarium. As stated in the product, my pool was ready to use immediately, for the first two weeks I checked the water parameters every day. I planted the fish in just 24 hours and never once experienced a nitrate or ammonia nitrite spike, my fish quickly adapted from the aquarium shop to the newly installed aquarium. The tank had an initial bioburst which I worried about because the tank wasn't driving…
