Best wave generator for fish and aquatic animals

I bought the small one thinking my fish wouldn't fight the current and wow it still has amazing pressure. I use it in my 180 for more drive water for my plants and it's great.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • No power

Too strong! for aquarium pumps and filters

I have a 20 gallon aquarium and 5 black mollys. The wave generator I received is 30 watts, which seems too powerful for my pool. Any advice on optimal performance for this aquarium. I think I'm going back

FOR TANKS 75G OR MORE

Wow, this thing is strong! I tried it in a 36g tank on the bow and it uprooted most of my tank and forced the fish to hide in low current areas. I've moved it to my 75g grow tank and it's better there but still very strong. I'll keep it at 75g but will do more research to get a better/slower head to move water efficiently without overdoing it.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Volume

Not my favorite at Fish & Aquatic Pets

Pros: OT really moves the water! It was actually a bit more potent than I wanted for my freshwater planted tank, but for a saltwater reef tank they are amazing. The size is perfect, very minimal and unobtrusive. Cons: On the one I got, the suction cup came loose after a couple of weeks and was barely attached after a week. So I returned mine. I'm not sure if this is a common problem, but at least you're aware of the possibility now.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Will be added later

Well done, keep running without losing strength and never switch off!

The suction power of this 480 gph is really good I've had it for 2 1/2 months now and only once in those 2 months have I noticed that the suction cup isn't sticking to the glass of the tank but I think it was my fault for posting it wrong the first time. It was excellent value for money, and made from durable plastic, very sturdy, well made. The performance of the engine is incredibly good, I have never disconnected it from this shaft generator since buying it and it continues to work withoutโ€ฆ

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • boring packaging

Works great until it stops

I bought an AQUANEAT circulation pump, a wave generator for the aquarium, with the idea of keeping my gravel cleaner by circulating more water, it keeps food, excrement and plant parts in suspension . longer so that the HOB filter has more time to catch all the water. It works great when it works, I haven't vacuumed my gravel for 6-8 weeks as it hasn't been necessary, just regularly changing the water and cleaning the filter. Purchased on December 11, 2020 and it stopped working on February 25,

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

Works fine for 2 1/2 months but then.

Lots of performance for the price but not too much for my 40 gallon tank. Really purifies water in combination with an in-tank foam filter and an external canister filter. The fish also love to play in the current they create. However, as another Revain customer ("Mike") mentioned in his review ("Great until it stops working"), mine stopped working after the same amount of time. I bought mine on September 9th and found on November 24th that it stopped working; and no exchange was possible. Atโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Negative moment present
