Aqueon (3 Pack) Ammonia Minipad Cartridge for Quiet Flow 20/75 Filters Review

This is a required item for my chosen hob filter. I use one of these and one charcoal unless I have an ammonia tip, in which case I use two. You only have to be very careful when tipping them when they are wet, otherwise they will tear.

These don't work best on large exotic goldfish, but probably work well on smaller ones. This reduces the amount of ammonia, but they don't last long for the price you pay. You'd better go to the pet store and buy a $12 ammonia reduction filter pad, which is huge, and cut it down to size. You could probably get 30 from the pet store.

Sold in a pack of 3. You only get two packs which means you are being scammed out of 33 1/3% of your money. There is nothing wrong with the individual items. They are as they should be and if you buy a pack you (hopefully) get what you paid for, but if you buy this three pack you only get 2/3 of what you expected and this is unacceptable. . I am writing this review after contacting the seller 3 days ago and no response.

The same does not apply to replacement aquarium filters. They are as advertised. This filter system is inexpensive and quiet. I have a 55 gallon fresh water tank with four large fish about 6 inches. I recently learned that the bigger the fish, the more oxygen it needs. I've recently added a strong bait which is irritating to the eyes but I've noticed a marked improvement in fish behavior. It also makes the filter system more difficult, which means you have to clean the filter more often.
