🐠 Aqueon QuietFlow LED PRO Aquarium Power Filter - Size 20: Superb Filtration and Illumination! Review

I really liked the product. I ended up buying 2 of these. They worked great and were very quiet in operation. About a month after I started using them, they both got noticeably noisy and I couldn't figure out why or how. I've been messing around with them in every way I can but haven't found a solution to the problem. That's the only problem I've had with them.

The tank is installed in our living room, so the noise level of the hob doesn't bother us. With the TV and air purifier on, I can barely hear the filter. With everything turned off, on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the loudest and most annoying noise, I'd say it's a 5. (If this were in my bedroom, I'd probably give it a 10.) Recommend This filter is for living/break rooms, not bedrooms.

My first Aqueon lasted four years. My second one stopped working after we had a power outage so I bought a new one and plugged it into a surge protector. Two months later, the electricity flashed again - and he stopped working. The small fan rotates, but does not draw water. I'll try again just because I've had good luck with them in the past - and bought a bunch of filters to use with Aqueon. Just take a look. . . .

This is my fourth AQUEON filter and it works great! I've been using Aqueon on my tank for 6 years with no problems. I'm not sure about the new feature on this filter that tells you when to change the filter media. Since I use Fit pads (I put 2 per cartridge) and rinse them out in used water from the tank, I don't throw the pads away until they fall apart (mostly after 6 months I just change one pad and let the other run with it doesn't mess up my cycle) The unit is quiet and I like that it…

The noise from this filter is terrible. It makes a loud crunch that I can hear from every room in the house. I didn't notice a huge difference in suction power with the Aqueon QuietFlow 10 we replaced, which was much quieter (lasted about a year). I will throw out. My current filter that I have been using for the last two years just died so I really needed this filter for my tank. Received this product in the mail today and upon arrival I opened it and read the instructions. This filter block has outperformed all other filter blocks I have purchased and used on my aquarium. Other brands just didn't prevent the water from turning cloudy quickly with particles floating in it. This aqueon keeps the water clear longer than any other I've owned.
