Very strong first impression

Yes, I'm an old 'master' and 'husky', dabbled in 'things' (especially cars and appliances) for over 35 years. I haven't really "experienced" these extensions yet, but - wow - what a very strong impression of quality and (potential) durability. Good weight for her. This matte black finish is pretty edgy! Hopefully these last 10 years.

Works as it should, would buy more

Now it's fashionable to do things in black. looks good? It's pretty silly to work with tools that you can't see when they're on the ground, or that blend in with shadows under the hood of a car, or when they're under a car. The tools work great. I added some bright, tacky Yellow Dip material to the rods to keep them cool on the hands and provide grip when manually threading the screw in and out. Would buy these tools again.

A great tool at this price

Haven't had a chance to test them yet but I've banged them on various parts in my workshop to check for imperfections and they look well built and sturdy. They have the usual fine sheen of machine oil so be prepared to wipe it off. The fit isn't as snug as I'd like and only one side of the 4 has a notch to hold the socket in place, but for the price I think this is a solid set.

great quality great price

I recently ordered these extensions and am very happy with them. I use them on both my 3/8 impact wrench and my 1/2 to 3/8 geared half impact in my job as an automotive technician and they hold up to 550 ftlb of torque very well. They grab and hold the cases, which is very handy when working in tight, hard-to-reach places where you can't get a lost case. I am very satisfied with the quality and the price and will buy them again.

work. These are extensions and I have a hard time getting excited about them unless it's some kind of groundbreaking new extension technology. I would say the color is a bit chalky but that makes it comfortable to grip and non-slip. The brand name is on the paint and not engraved if you care. I would say take these. Extensions are extensions. I use them on my drums and even my hand tools as I don't see why I should buy them twice. I think it's a marketing ploy to trick you into buying two sets…
