    Defective HDMI card.

The HDMI connectors on the breakout board are defective. I've tried 3 cables and they all work when connected directly to the Pi. If I wiggle the cable directly in the breakout board I get the output on my screen, but if I just hit the case or cable the screen goes blank again.

The only Pi 4 case to look out for

I don't normally write reviews but I was so impressed with this case I thought it would fit. I bought one of these cases for testing purposes while building a Pi cluster for my home lab and wanted something that would look stylish in my server rack. This is the only case I've found that I think is close to perfect. (More on the "fast" part later). I was immediately surprised by the size and weight of this suitcase. It's a little smaller than I thought and a lot heavier. When you pick it up, you

Very "cool " case! Computer Components

This seems to be a very popular case as Revain often runs out of stock. All in all a very streamlined look that does an excellent job of keeping the RPi 4b cool. I've noticed that it stays coolest with the fan running at full speed AND the GPIO access panel off; under the lid it is about 10 degrees warmer. I compared several readings for a clear plastic case with a full fan, no heatsink, running this case with a full fan, heatsinks and thermal tape and no overclocking. I used the following…

Excellent fit and finish. Too bad it doesn't work.

Breakout/relay board* defective. Any movement of the cables will affect the functionality of the routed HDMI ports, rendering the case completely unusable. Otherwise, the structure, fit and workmanship are excellent. A real shame. *Bought two in the first order with the intention of buying another 23. Neither of them reliably support HDMI on the rear ports. Any slight movement will reset the signal. Most likely, this is not an accident, but because of cheap boards.

    Misleading product information

The product listed here differs from what I (and presumably many others based on photos in other product reviews) received. The advertised version has two full-size HDMI ports on the back, but the product I received is an older version that still only has micro-HDMI. I'm very disappointed because otherwise it's a really well designed case. There are a few other minor issues that I noticed as soon as I received the case. The magnets in the removable GPIO cover are held in place with a weak…

Best Raspberry Pi 4 Case with Next Day Delivery

After 8 months of enduring the obnoxiously noisy fan of my CanaKit case, I decided to jump onto the Argon One case. The Argon One solves some storage problems. Raspberry Pi 4 for example, cables coming out different sides of the board, a temperature choke and the lack of an adjustable fan speed. The components of the kit were packaged very well and the instructions were easy to read. During assembly I had to cut one of the silicone thermal pads. The argon could improve quality control a bit to…

Summary - I love it! The best body I've ever seen.

Put simply, this is the best Raspberry Pi case I have ever seen and bought. A major annoyance I've always had with the RPI is the fact that the connectors are on all sides of the board, most notably the power and ethernet on two different sides. In many of my applications, this complicates wiring and positioning. The Argon40 has all connections on the back! Hooray! Finally! Another annoying annoyance is having to whip out my phone to turn off the system. Argon40 adds a power button to…
