These are the wrong screws for the D-Series

They will not fit the D-Series. They are too long and bottom out before the flywheel tightens. This has been a known issue for a long time and I don't understand why ARP keeps selling them as a d-series fit. That's a lie and it hurts to realize when your engine is hanging on an engine lift. The screws sold are identical to those in the B-series kits, despite having different part numbers. This is the right length for ab but too long for d.

Pros
  • Made in USA
Cons
  • Not all will fit

Well, on the face of the flywheel, between the pilot bearing and the crank bolt holes, there is a protruding ridge, so once you push…

Pros
  • Part number: 2082801
Cons
  • Reliability
