They do exactly as advertised but they have their own speaker mounting hardware. You can use factory speaker screws to attach plastic adapters but be very careful and maybe have two different thicknesses to attach your speakers to these plastic rings. You will probably tear off the first screws right away. Do not apply torque to the mounting screws.

I bought this soundbar adapter on my Jeep Wrangler because I was replacing the factory speakers with a Rockford 6.5" set as in pic 1 seeing the 6.5 not match the factory grille on the soundbar, then after a few tweaks to the adapter I was able to mount the 6.5 speaker perfectly and match it to the factory soundbar grille for a great result. The difference between these and many others I've tried and returned is that they actually have a lot of tabs inside that you snap off know how to make sure they fit. The screw holes didn't line up perfectly with my standard door holes, but I was able to get them to work.
