The purchase is definitely worth it!

So my coffee maker broke last Saturday and I've been struggling with instant and hot coffee which most people don't mind but just doesn't work for me while I wait for my new Ninja coffee maker model to come . I decided to try something more efficient and for some reason never had a problem with anything, that's when I stumbled upon this gem! I gave it a try as soon as I got home from work tonight with my Deathwish coffee and needless to say I was hooked! I bought it with the intention of being…

Problem prevents good for coffee, tea and espresso

After a good start I suddenly had a problem. I had a leak on my collar and it was uncomfortable but not a total failure. All other claimed benefits were true. It was easy to use, kept the coffee hot for a long time, was easy to clean and allowed me to brew multiple servings at once rather than one at a time. After a little testing I was able to contact the seller. They asked me to confirm the problem with the photo. I did and they responded by sending me a new block. When I inspected the new…

When you buy it, you're adding this easy, cheap upgrade.

Makes very good coffee. I switched to this filter coffee maker due to the health risks associated with using a French press. This filter coffee is just as good, but without the risks. It tastes great and the coffee maker is easy to clean. This 1000ml coffee maker produces 3 regular sized cups of coffee which is enough that you may need to keep it hot to avoid reheating and this is where this product has a problem. After you remove the glass lid that keeps the filter full of grist, the metal…

The lid is poorly made and breaks when fitted onto the jug

To be honest I loved my coffee maker/jug. Five start loved! Keeps coffee hot all day. But when the lid breaks and is no longer removable and the coffee gets stuck inside, it's no longer love. After discovering that the first lid was defective, Revain customer service said the company would not replace the lid as my pan was longer than its warranty. It cost $50 so it was worth replacing the broken cover. I literally used a second cap for 6 days when the same problem reoccurred. When we tried…

Sexy, fun, yet gentle

I love this carafe. Nice. I would call it "eggplant" not red. Happy to use. The steel filter runs too fast, so I think it needs a paper filter. keeps my coffee hot However, I bought it to keep my homemade coffee hot. I have a lot of coffee containers. Also, it's too pretty to be bumped (scratched) in a basket or backpack. The problem is that it cools down quickly unless you plan on removing the glass funnel and covering it with a lid. So I leave the used filter in place. I also tried the lid as

Mixed packaging is good for kitchen and dining room

Update April 6, 2020: After finding a basic kettle on the stovetop to boil water, I've started using Asobu more regularly to use.- now this everyday. In short - very happy with the result of the coffee making a difference at the end of the day - not obsessed enough to use the scale; just play around a bit to find the right mix. No issues: - fragile jar (just be careful as with ANY jar) - lid too tight (don't over tighten) - general handling (so what if 2 hands are needed!) - heat retention (4…

Recommended purchase for flood fill users but with extra precautions

Overall a good product but it falls short of expectations mainly due to the 12 hour claim and a few minor annoyances. I overcame some of its limitations with little hacks that I read in other comments and I'm very happy with the result. For context, I've had both Chemex and Bodum double wall screeds and part of the reason I bought this product is the issues I've had with it. Chemex did not retain heat and, being an all-glass product, inevitably had a limited lifespan in my home. The Bodum had…
