Works wirelessly with regular phone line

Couldn't connect it to a two line DECT system BUT I have a manual RJ 11 switch and have connected both lines to it and it works great. The only reason for 4 stars is that it seems a bit static at times.

Windows 10 users do not need to apply. you can do better

The headset works well enough if you only need basic headset functions. Without this feature, you can find cheaper headsets with better sound quality elsewhere. If you plan to integrate your landline, Skype and/or Lync. You're out of luck unless you're running Windows 7 or XP. Windows 10 users do not need to apply. AT&T Softphone Call Manager is not compatible with Windows 10, a full 3 years after Windows 10 was released. AT&T Product Support 800-222-3111 if you don't believe me.

NO NOISE CANCELING

This headset works, but it is not suitable for work. The microphone is NOT noise canceling. The microphone can pick up sounds from outside my home when my doors and windows are closed. The fact that the microphone is so sensitive to noise makes it a poor choice for a work environment, especially for home use. The mute function turns on and off slowly. The headset said it would be muted in this case and when the customer is on the phone you can't hear them through the headset announcing mute orโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Very expensive

Waste of time and money

I've been looking for a wireless headset for a few months that could work with my albeit old telephone system. I was thrilled when this product came out. Already not satisfied. It was difficult to 'install', program, use and call it what you want. Interference with my wireless satellite equipment being more than 15 feet away no matter what frequency we were trying to use. The headset is extremely uncomfortable - it HURT no matter which earphone and clip you use. Right now this device is aโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Hands-free calling
Cons
  • That makes me nervous

Bad support returns phone for ATT

I read that this headset supports VOIP. I was also told that this headset should be connected to a Polycom vvx150 phone. No - neither one nor the other worked. No test tones are heard when connected to a PC and a headset registered in the software and PC default settings. Same on the Polycom phone. I called support, they did some basic troubleshooting and thought the headset was bad but kept telling me that this headset is only for analog devices. But their descriptions point to VOIP and Skype.

Pros
  • . Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

They taught the old dog new tricks, but none of them worked.

My entire review is based on comparing this TL7910 to an older TL7610 that I have used for many years. The first thing you need to know is that the claims "works with Voip" are simply not true. The AT&T software for this headset, which is required for voice control features, does not support regular VoIP. It only works with Lync and Skype. (plus obviously a landline) Cannot connect to another SIP/Voip service. The software is pretty simple. It has a phone book, Skype/Lync controls and anโ€ฆ

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Minor issues
