Oil pan gasket of good quality and will not try to flex on you. Also the gasket that holds the filter fits exactly as it should. If you put some oil on the filter itself, it will fit snugly. Super easy, super good fit.

Came with a quality filter, replacement filter mouth gasket and better than most oil pan gaskets. There is actually metal in the gasket so it's stiff and the bolt holes appear to have metal rings to keep you from crushing the gasket. Although the gasket was very good I decided to reuse the original gasket which had obvious metal rings around each screw hole.

Product delivered and packaged as advertised. The gasket arrived bent at one of the places where the metal reinforcement was, so it couldn't seal properly. I have reused the old gasket with a new filter and filter ring and no problems so far. I think if the new gasket came undamaged everything would be fine. I would recommend this product but make sure the gasket comes without any major creases as it will not seal properly.

I actually bought this for my son's first car. When we bought it we knew it had a transmission issue so I planned to change the transmission oil but the main issue was harsh shifting due to a broken transmission cable. Anyway, I fixed the broken wire and helped him change the transmission oil. I bought this filter because it had to have a good seal and it did. Everything worked great and now the car shifts like a baby's bottom and no gear oil leaks out.

Gaskets last just over a year! This is the second time I've bought it. I wanted this because of the strong seal, and after 16 months it's leaking all over the rim of the pan AGAIN! Exactly the same thing happens after the SAME time ON THE SAME MACHINE! I will NEVER buy again! I'm pretty sure it must be the rubber in the seal that's contaminated with gear oil. I wanted to save some money and lost twice! I ended up buying one from the dealer. Lesson learned!

The filter fits my 2008 Pontiac G6 v4 perfectly. A filter gasket was also included which was a nice touch. The gasket was bent with a few kinks rendering the gasket completely unusable. I just reused the original and found no leaks. The gasket was not packaged for protection at all, as was the filter. The filter came in a plastic bag and the gasket was completely separate. This set worked great. Cheaper than Delco OEM air conditioning and just as good or better. The seal is made of high quality rubber with metal inside, just like the original. You definitely don't need a regular rubber or cork gasket as you're just checking for leaks. I highly recommend using a Lubegard atf (red bottle) protection additive when filling up if you have trouble shifting. This stuff works wonders! Completely fixed my sliding trance! Filter and gasket looked identical to the AC Delco OEM parts I replaced. There was some rubber on the metal insert that looked like it would peel off so I gave the rating 4 stars out of 5 as I had to rub it with my fingers to get the peeled rubber off. This is not very encouraging, since any contamination in the gearbox can lead to its failure. However, I was able to clean it up enough to think it should at least be good.
