This was the second time I had to purchase this product only to find that it still didn't work properly. When I first bought it, Mode 33 sounded like Alvin and the Chipmunks on every album. I returned it thinking it was just a lemon and bought it again. The same thing happened. I called the company and they said it is a belt drive turntable that can vary in speed. Different speeds? I kept records for many years. I recently came across a huge batch of 33's and 45's from a family member's estate sale and decided to check out a few. Not wanting to spend a lot of money, I ordered the AT-LP60 based on reviews and ease of use. It took me maybe 5 minutes to set up and after filming the old Simon & Garfkunkel it took me back over 40 years to my childhood.
