First. The reason I bought this mouse is because I spend a lot of time on the computer, usually 10-12 hours a day, I write code. I had problems with my elbows due to my terrible posture, low stance and standard mouse. I bought this mouse to see if having my hand in a more natural resting position would relieve the discomfort I was having in my elbow. This is my first vertical mouse and I was pleasantly surprised at how it feels in my hand. It took me a while to get used to it, but after a week or so I didn't even feel uncomfortable or have any issues with it. Good: 1) It's really ergonomic. This is a huge relief compared to a regular mouse. Comfortable to hold, easy to get used to, fingers don't touch the table. 2) Silence! I don't know if all upright mice have the same problem but this one is poorly designed. When my hand and arm are in a natural comfortable position, which these vertical mice are designed to facilitate, the mouse is actually pointing about 20 degrees to the left. So when the mouse pointer is at the bottom of the screen and I press my hand straight, the pointer on the screen actually moves to the exact top right corner. This mouse should be perfect. It fits perfectly in my (very large) hand like no other mouse I have ever owned. Extremely comfortable and easy to use, it feels completely natural. Update: Unfortunately, after a few months of use, this mouse started showing its flaws. The battery lasts almost a week, initially enough for 3 weeks of daily use. Sometimes it becomes unresponsive and doesn't register clicks even when the battery is fully charged.
