Item as described. It was installed on behalf of the manufacturer. The switch failed a month and a week after installation. Tried to contact Revain who advised "out of return window".

We chose this one because it has 4 positions. Some others only have 3 positions where the light doesn't work. It worked great. Easy installation. Fast delivery. Exactly what we needed.

Warning! According to the description it fits the Polaris 500 and has a 4-position switch. I have a 2011 Polaris Ranger 500 that needs a 4 way switch (it turns on the headlights). This is just a 3 position switch! I would return it but it's not worth my time or expense as the part is only $12. Waste of money and above all time. I am not happy! 😠

This is an ignition switch replacement for my 2011 Polaris Ranger 500 EFI 4X4. It was very easy to install and works very well. The only reason for the 4 vs 5 star rating was that when the key was inserted it didn't match the factory sticker that indicated the key's location (i.e. off, lights off, lights on and start). Otherwise I am very satisfied with my performance

I got this ignition switch about one (1) year ago. A year ago the ignition switch arrived as advertised, it fitted my 2010 Polaris 400. It was a four position switch that controlled the headlights.
