Love the way it looks and feels. I saw another post saying they were unhappy with him because he was weak. I do not agree. It's plastic, but hard plastic, and it looks good on my hood. I've had it on for a month now, driving on the freeway, taking it to a car wash and it won't come loose anytime soon.

Cool spoon, overpriced for cheap plastic. But I was fine with it because I didn't care about the price. However, when I opened it up and saw that it was covered in scratches, totally unusable, I got angry and sent it back. The packaging didn't match. I don't understand how any of this gets to consumers without being scratched.

Exactly what I was looking for. I wanted to look like an Aston Martin. It was the closest I could find. The low air intake and very thin rear taper on my midsummer day made for a nice silhouette from all sides. Because I put it so low on the hood, the two front tips didn't stick. To make sure they are flush I decided to use automotive epoxy instead of tape.

I bought this AVS hood scoop for my Tacoma and it looks great. It's all black so I used Rustoleum Painter Touch 2X Clear Gloss Spray. It does not yellow and is UV resistant. Installation isn't difficult if you know how to read a tape measure. I centered mine and then circled it with a pencil. I used 80 grit Gator paper to peel off the paint where the tape would stick. I ditched the 1/4" 3M automotive tape and bought a small roll of 7/8" tape for extra adhesion.

Just the right size and profile for my Impala. Low profile, wide and longer than the smaller ones sold at Revain. I skipped the 3M tape, ripped it off and threw it away. Apply glue to attach the decorative air intake to the blade. Drilled holes (with patience) through every existing hole in the air intake and through the vane itself, so there are real holes in the air intake now. I first bought it for my Jeep Wrangler. The scoop has a slight curve, but the Jeep's hood is fairly flat. The decals on the bucket (it was supposed to be 3M but I didn't see the 3M logo on mine) would probably keep it in place, but I didn't expect it to last all that long as it battled the wind and twist.
