Carpet covers the part of the dashboard that receives light. Therefore, when the mat is turned on during the day, the instrument panel lighting is dimmed as if it were evening. Although it looks nice on the dashboard.

Love the cut outs and the design except it's about 1" wider along the front screen than all those 1". Tried but no exchange possible. I didn't want to go back as it's still the best I've seen.

I somehow managed to ruin my new car's dashboard while cleaning it and I wish I didn't have to see my mistake. When I was looking for a dashboard cover I didn't want one that required velcro to attach to the dashboard so I went for this one and am very happy with the look and fit. Not perfect, but very close. Recommend.

It does the job but in some places it doesn't lay completely flat despite following the instructions to leave it fully extended for 24 hours before placing it on the dashboard . It also partially covers the defrost holes closer to where the dash connects to the windshield, so I'm not sure how much this will affect the winter defrost function. If you tuck it well between the windshield and dash, the holes won't overlap, but then the rest of the mat will be misplaced and more uneven.

I've had this on the dashboard for about a week. Before putting it on I followed all the instructions and even put it on overnight (to straighten it) as directed. Tonight I accelerated at a moderate pace and it slid down covering the sensors, radio and started fiddling with my steering when I tried to move it. for drivers.
