Get this smart charger!

I purchased a "STANLEY BC25BS Fully Automatic 25 Amp 12V Bench Battery Charger/Maintainer with 75A Engine Start, Alternator Check, Cable Clamps" charger prior to this one and was VERY dissatisfied with its software, display, clamps and case design. Ordered thia 2/10/25a Ampeak to try. I'm VERY HAPPY with it so far! Have repaired 1 ATV battery with its de-sulphate function that the Stanley spent 2 weeks on with no fix. Ran Ampeak's "Battery Repair" function 3 times and now capacity IS restored…

Fixed dead AMG solar batteries

I had 3 completely dead 12v solar AMD batteries on my trailer. They were depleted down to 2v and I thought I would have to replace them. I trjump starting them 3 times with my car for 20 minutes each time but could only get them to 5v. I purchased this charger and used the repair mode. It took a few tries, but I managed to get the batteries to start taking a charge. I had to leave

Good Battery Charger/Maintainer for batteries WITH Charge. Wont charge a completely dead battery

Bought this after reading a lot of reviews. Lot of good things about this charger. Bought this because I have a second car I dont get to drive to often and because of that. The battery slowly lost a charge and finally needed to jump start it. Its a good battery but letting it sit caused the battery to die.I got this to help keep the battery charged so I wouldn't have to jump start it every time. Charges when others give up.

Prior to this unit had a traditional dumb car charger for a long time, but it died this year.Replaced it with a Black & Decker unit - you may see recommendations for it in your search. That unit refused to charge any battery given. It only has 2 amp charging for 6v batts!

I bought this for a few things, one of them being charging and de-sulfating my 6v L16 batteries. Besides taking the place of my old (now non-working charger), the main reason I bought this is to desulfate some older batteries and over-charge them for that purpose, to boil the sulfation off the plates. Not only is the amperage dismal on this for anything but charging a battery (8 amps is the highest the 12v will go), there's no way to go straight to what is called "Battery Reconditioning", which
