Much better than I expected for the price

I only used it for a few hours. I bought it because my daughter (a high school student) was taking biology class and was interested in microbiology. I've had a few optical sights under $100, digital and "kids" microscopes, but I figured something better was needed. I am a professional scientist and have over $1,000 worth of optical microscopes in my lab. For the price I was expecting a slight improvement over the cheap scopes I've had, but to be honest it's a steal compared to scopes at workโ€ฆ

It was an excellent metal microscope built in China.

This was an excellent metal microscope made in China. The microscope came pre-assembled, but I had to insert lenses. After I bought it, I took cell biology classes and made sure to follow some of the things that were said. It was really good quality and I couldn't find any problems with it. I've had this microscope for about 5 months now and I still enjoy looking at things under a microscope. To answer some questions about this microscope, I once had a family and the ages ranged from 6 to 50โ€ฆ

The lever and the table are made of metal and are very durable. The plastic parts are ok, not ok.

This is a top quality microscope for several reasons. I am a college student studying microbiology and this microscope exceeded my expectations and fits my budget perfectly. For the price I really couldn't have asked for more. I will provide a detailed overview and photos of the organism observed with my OMAX microscope. FYI I am writing this review comparing the OMAX to well known brands like Olympus and Nikon microscopes as these are microscopes that are usually available at any JC, SU orโ€ฆ

The best microscope in its price range.

I've recently developed an interest in microscopes so I did a little research and settled on the OMAX M82ES microscope which as you can see is in is offered in several different configurations. I want to share some of the things I learned from my research in this review to help you make your own purchasing decision. Let's start with magnification first. The instinctive response of the inexperienced user is to prefer higher magnification microscope sets. However, this is misleading as you won'tโ€ฆ
