CAP END WEAK: bearings and seals

The end you hit with a hammer just breaks and breaks with repeated use. The tool worked, but it only seems good for one use. I will go back and buy a different brand

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Works great, use 2x4

Fits me perfectly. I saw some reviews about it warping so I put a 2x4 between the tool and the sledgehammer and had no problem. Both front axles installed without problems and without tool damage

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Available in white only

Suitable for self-assembly

Good tool, without it the work becomes much more difficult and the seals can be damaged. I did 4 runs because it broke at the end of work, it can be used as is and I don't plan on using it again, at least not any time soon, so it's fine.

Pros
  • Super price
Cons
  • Repair

Works great, without it it would be easy to ruin the new seal.

I have used this tool several times. This worked great for me and didn't warp at all as others have mentioned. Do I only use original parts and always wipe them with grease before installation? Maybe that's why they go in so smoothly? I've used 3 and 6 lb sledgehammers and the barley had to hit them, no problem here.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Expensive

Worth the money - spare parts

This tool is worth the money. It sets the seal to the correct depth on the axle and then positions the shaft in the housing. A tip: Do not put a thrust washer on the axle when installing the shaft in the housing. The vacuum seal will be pushed back too far, preventing the axle from protruding far enough to fit into the snap ring.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • I won't say anything
