This item is a perfect match for my head unit. I put it on a Specialized Tri-Cross head unit and replaced my carbon fiber stem that was too long, which allowed me to lean and reach wide. It was uncomfortable. Now, with this shortened 35 degree device, everything is perfect. The weight was negligible as the carbon fiber it replaced was larger, so actually lighter. The stem looks and feels like a quality piece. However, the surfaces that will be on top of the steering bearing and under the top cover are not in the same plane. This means that the pressure on the bearing is uneven and there is unwanted play. This is not a blemish. In fact, this is the most important parameter for stems.
