Great deal found and just what I was looking for. The package arrived on time and intact. The lock was easy to install, re-coded and very secure. The only problem I had was changing the direction of the handle but there were no instructions for doing this but I found a YouTube video showing how to do it and it was an easy process too. The company should include these recommendations, especially since this is a feature that is advertised.

This binocular key locking lever appears to be part of the Baldwin brand's Economy line. I am a big fan of Baldwin door hardware and have several styles installed in my home. This line looks sleek and stylish but lacks the quality of my other older Baldwin door hardware. Of the 5 sets of full length handles sent to me, 3 had scratches on the rosettes (square part behind the handle). On both sides. I'm surprised Revane even sent them. Only one was in good shape. One of them had a minor defect, so I installed it in a less visible spot. But still! The front door step and rear door latch were in much better condition. (One of the secret bolts had to be replaced due to damage to the finish.) Looks like Revain sent the returned ones live? Or did Baldwin want to reset

I used this to replace the standard round knobs. I prefer these lever handles as they are easier to open and manipulate. I've tried using a cheaper handle with hidden screws in the past, but the hidden screws made installation difficult and I had to drill new holes in the door just to install the handle. The smart key function is simply ingenious, because it allows you to easily recode all locks yourself in a matter of seconds. (UPDATE: I was about to reinstall another lever (different brand) but decided to give Baldwin one last chance. Surprisingly I was able to it solved my smart key problem by wiggling the key at the same time pulling it out of the lock and trying to turn the key eventually it gave way and the cylinder turned I was then able to unlock the lock with the smart key Reset tool. My old key now opens the lock. I'm still cutting off the dot because it was so tricky. I have to return the second door handle
