***Updated Rating After 1000 Miles***

- - - - - 1000 Miles Updated Rating - - - - -I rode over 1000 miles in 5 months with these shorts. I've found that after about 3-4 months of use you really start to feel saddle pain if you ride for more than 2 hours. I've been wearing them for 5 months now and I've just started developing a blister on my buttocks. So it's time for me to find new shorts with better suede lining. Overall these shorts aren't bad, the build quality is pretty good and overall they're not bad. I just wouldn't…

High quality at a reasonable price

I used to wear Pearl Izumi cycling shorts but since retiring from the military I've gained weight and had to order a size up. These shorts are cheaper than Zhemchug so I hesitated to buy them as Zhemchug brand suited me. However, I have several pairs of Baleaf activewear underwear and found the quality to be good, so I took a chance and bought a pair of cycling shorts. I am impressed. I didn't think 3D padding would make a difference, but it does. The My Pearl shorts feature standard foam…

Good fit, comfortable. Good price.

My review may not apply to diamond frame riders. As you can see, I ride a recumbent trike. Since most cycling shorts are made of elastane or mountain bike, they are usually only available in black. In the lying saddle, the hot sun roasts the black cloth like crazy. Good for an upright position, but not good for a lying position where the sun shines directly on the core/legs. I like that they came in grey. You are cool in the sun and breathing. I don't care about the padding, but I like the…

Third of three different pairs I'm reviewing

I'm a very athletic male, 6ft 3in/190lbs and a 20 year old serious cyclist. Pant size 33w/34l I ride 50+ miles 3-4 times a week in the foothills and mountains of East Tennessee. This week I decided to try 3 new cycling shorts: bpbtti for $14.99 (L). I also bought a pair of BALEAF for $26.99 (M) which I am reviewing and RION for $18.99 (M). I read several comments on each pair to understand what size to order. Please see my other reviews for the other two pairs. I've been an avid cyclist and…
