It's just a toilet seat, few moving parts. But the only thing you really need is for the loops to be securely attached to the bowl. And the holes in the plastic bolt loop are so big that when you tighten the plastic bolts, they slip through the holes. There's no way around it. If I put a washer to keep it from slipping, I can't close the hinge cover and it looks stupid. Bad product. Stay away.

It's hard to find a match for this vintage toilet. Nobody buys avocado colored toilets and hasn't for many years. I think I'm glad it's a pretty close match. Big scratch on the lid when it arrived in an obviously repackaged package. I would send it back but I need it and don't want to wait. It's a cheap plastic but it fits and the color isn't too far off so I'll use it for now.

This is the 4th one I've bought (2 in our old house and 2 in our new house). They are very easy to install. The best part is that you can remove the entire seat. Useful for spraying diapers in our baby's toilet, as well as for deep cleaning of the toilet. The only problem I have with them is that the lid isn't very strong. You cannot sit on a closed toilet seat. The lid is quite flimsy and flexes to the point where the support legs slide off the seat, after which the whole thing falls off. I…
