The retractable nozzle has a threaded cap on .

Pop up spray nozzle has a screw cap at the very end that unscrews and flushes down the toilet. The bidet does not work without a cover. Bio-Bidet did not respond to several emails asking for a replacement cap.

I was skeptical at first, but now I believe!

Well my parents have had one for a few years now and love it. I found it strange. until I got it as a gift. I plugged it in, which was very easy. I'm not a qualified plumber and it only took 15-20 minutes to install. I turned the water back on, there were no leaks, then waited until I had to try. Now I'm a believer. I have never felt cleaner after going to the toilet. I used to use wet wipes, now I don't need them anymore. The water is initially cold, but that's not too bad. Now I just need one

The quality has gone down over the years

I have been a long time customer of Sanicare Bio Bidet and until recently I was happy with their products. I first installed 3 of these (or a similar model) in a previous house over 12 years ago and have never had a problem. When we moved to a new house in 2015 I reinstalled 3 of these. 2 of these 3 have already failed. One of them developed a leaky valve/pipe inside the bidet body, flooding the bathroom floor; This issue has also been reported by several other customers (see Jack Maturin's…

I like the BB-270 Duo for plumbing

I like the BB-270 Duo. But I have a problem with M12x1 water connections. Water and a HOT water valve located very close to the toilet. I was looking for TWO ADAPTERS, 3/8" internal thread M12x1 + ANOTHER 26" hose (M12x1 internal thread - M12x1 internal thread) for the hot water connection. I spent a lot of time looking for this stuff at various stores like H. Depot, Lowe's, Advans Plumbing etc. And another problem is that the installation guide doesn't say anything about bidet faucets. BB-270…

Essential and simple work

I installed this on a ROUND BOWL toilet and it works, but (t)I have to sit a little further forward on the seat than usual. It took me about 35 minutes to install. I've replaced toilet bowls a few times in the past, so I'm used to the order of things and how airtight things need to be. The build quality was pretty good and I had no issues with leaks. It comes with a tiny roll of Teflon tape, but I found it after installing everything. The documents warn of the degradation of plastic when…

Excellent.: Plumbing

First bidet, didn't want to spend a lot of money before knowing what features we really need. In hindsight, we would have been fine with a model that only had a wash dial and adjustable pressure (no hot water). First, we live in Florida and the tap water is not as cold as the inside or outside temperature. Second, the bidet doesn't deliver enough water to flush cold water out of the hot pipes before you're done washing. The possibility of connecting hot water is actually not that big of a…

An amazing health aid for everyone!

I had an Intelliseat bidet for several years but it was difficult to clean properly and it finally stopped working about a month ago. I didn't feel like spending a few hundred bucks on another one as I felt it wouldn't hold up well enough so I ordered this model. My husband (an attorney, not a plumber) was able to install it with ease. It uses no power at all, and there is no remote control to lose or run out of power at the worst possible moment. It simply connects to a water source coming…

Replaced in 2 months

We move a lot at work. In every house we move into, I install a bidet in all toilets. I've done over 10 in the last ten years or so. This time I wanted a prettier bidet so I went for this one. This is clearly a poorly made bidet with a big advertising budget. Nothing is broken, just very poorly made. The knob is difficult to turn and the water pressure has to reach a certain point before the jets come out, and that pressure is too high. It's difficult to adjust and the spray is harsh. After 3…

Love it - except it leaks horribly from the primary valve (NOT the hose fittings). Service requested, repair 3 weeks ago - no response. So I think it might be a good product but I can't tell due to the seller's poor replacement service. Review Update/Edit: So, after constant seemingly random leaks, I removed the bidet and took it apart. See attached photos. I was just shocked. PROBLEM 1 (most critical): The main valve is connected to the supply pipe by a simple rubber or neoprene molded gasket.
