I like the light on the ends of the hooks. It's much easier for me to see what I'm doing. Because they are made of hard plastic, the yarn slides very easily on the hook. I found it works best in low light. The high light is very bright but still works well. The handles are very comfortable. A whole "bag" of extra crochet supplies comes in very handy and contains everything you need to start crocheting in one handy zip-top pack. This is very cheap for beginners or "old hands" who like to have everything in one container.

While I haven't tried all the extras yet, the actual base charges quickly and lasts at least 4 hours of direct use, alternating between dim and bright light settings (it could have taken longer, but I had to go to bed). . Rating update 09/23/21 changed my rating from 5***** to 1*! The handle fell apart in July and I was able to glue it back together. Now in September the hook is so loose that it can no longer be used. It's still glued on, but the plastic that makes up the handle is soft and pliable. So now the hook is firm but wobbles in the holds.
