We bought this for my seven year old daughter who wanted a watch like her sister. Girls are interested in competitions. It connected easily and worked well. The price is the same as the first generation, it seemed like a no-brainer. Especially since we have plenty of spare wristbands. At the same time, the Star Wars theme is incredibly cute. My daughter was thrilled to see how many tasks and steps she can complete each day so this is a win for everyone.

This watch has many features that make it ideal for children. My 8 year old was already very active but the built in play aspect of this watch got him hooked. There are also plenty of extras, including chores and rewards, which I wasn't sure we'd use, but were a hit. Parents can also set alarms and reminders throughout the day (e.g. for homework) and children collect coins for pre-determined tasks.
