Having worked in the automotive industry for many years this was an easy task for me. Although I've been retired for over 10 years. It took longer to raise the Tacoma, put jack stands under it, and remove the tire and wheel than it did replacing the trunk itself. A quality part that fits like the original makes the job easier.

Replaced the original 180k mi steering boot, leaking and cracked, with this one. It fits perfectly and was easy to install with a little lube on the ends. It was so easy to replace that I bought another one and replaced another steering boot that hadn't ruptured yet. After removing the old one there was some oil in it and the old boot was quite soft so it was time to replace that one too.
