This is my first experience with an electric aquarium gravel cleaner. I have three aquariums at home. Changing the water in each of the three aquariums used to take half an hour. Now it only takes ten minutes. It makes me more convenient and saves time! And it has other functions like scraping algae. The material is durable, I am very satisfied!

Once assembled it's impressive. I've used non-motorized ones that take forever for the water to flow out. It took seconds! I'm very impressed with how this took the gloom out of the sand, but the sand has fallen again (on video). This is ideal for an aquarium with sand or small rocks. My only complaint is that the instructions were very basic, with illustrations that were difficult to make out.

I inherited my previous gravel cleaner from friends. It was just the classic cheap stuff you get from petco. And I thought it would be a great job until my husband convinced me to buy a new one. Wow let me tell you my aquarium has never been cleaner and my fish have never been happier. I don't usually write reviews, but I can't recommend this one just yet.

That's it! This is my 3rd gravel cleaner in the last 3 months and by far the best. First I bought a pair of unnecessary ones and was very disappointed until I got this one. It's very easy to use and my fish like to follow it as it cleans the gravel. They think it's a toy for them. lol! It's very durable and made from quality materials, unlike the two cheap ones I've bought before. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for the perfect gravel cleaner.

First, the switch is way down the power cord. Trying to suck it up and turn it off is next to impossible. Second, the drain cord is stiff and slack. I tried using a suction cup but it wouldn't hold it by the bucket. We end up splashing water everywhere. Three doesn't work for a sand-based tank.
