Recently I've been trying to install this modem for several days. I installed it on a new computer and even went to the trouble of reformatting my computer and reinstalling Windows XP. Even with a simple Windows XP install with no additional, possibly conflicting, software, I couldn't get this modem to work. Tech support was terrible too. Excellent modem - installation did not cause any problems. Works great in XP - even shows incoming calls. This is a must! I don't understand why others find it difficult

I bought this modem a few years ago because of the price and the discount, thought it would be nice to have one in reserve. Installed on my new P-IV ECS system (XP-MCE; 3GB with 1MB RAM).
