Doesn't work without modification

This is clearly advertised as installing center lock rotors. which it doesn't, at least not without modification. The geniuses who designed it ensured the tool is wrapped in a thick rubber handle that gets in the way of the brake disc and prevents the tool from properly gripping the retaining ring. As others have noted, cutting the rubber with a knife can fix this, but. come cyclist.

This tool turned out to be much better than I expected.

Arrived quickly and boy does it have some weight. Very durable tool, very comfortable grip. The bottom bracket fits perfectly. Used it tonight to install BBR60 because my only other tool was Hollowtech II. I now have all three slide tools I need in one. Again the quality of this instrument is incredibly good and 1000% better than my old Hollowtech II which cost more money.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Crumpled

Perfect first impression, rock solid

Everything about this chair speaks to its durability. Healthy weight and feeling toned. Large grip area that fits snugly on the tool. The metal holding the "nest" area is important, as are the welds. Precision solid socket engagement over a SRAM BB I was working on. When you twist it, everything seems to be one and doesn't bend. For a relatively inexpensive bicycle tool, this is very well done.

  • Decent performance

Not what I need but might be useful in the future

I ordered this tool because I wasn't sure what I would need for my Raleigh Mojave 5.0 circa 2008 bottom bracket. I ended up needing an Octalink bottom bracket tool kit with a 20 tooth tool. Although I didn't need it for my current bike I kept it as I might need it for kids or other bikes in the future. The tool is of good quality and should last for expected use.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Not the best

BikeHand is a shop tool

As a casual cyclist, it's annoying when bike standards seem to change every week. BikeHand is my go-to for tools that aren't used often. I've bought a few other BikeHand tools and for the price you can't beat them. Cheap, but definitely not the worst option. This item is RELIABLE. Tolerance seems good. The only thing that could improve it is that it didn't scratch any surfaces, but I don't build show bikes.

Heavy duty wrench that fits multiple bottom bracket nuts

I was impressed by how heavy this wrench is. I find it's a brushed chrome steel with a nice finish and a great rubberized grip. My bearing nuts were very tight and took a few hits with a non-metallic hammer to loosen them. The wrench is perfect for the 39mm diameter and I was able to easily remove the nuts after initially loosening them. I think this key is worth the money.

Nearly perfect! fits bike tools and maintenance

I needed this to tighten the centerlock rotors on my new bike which uses a 44mm x 16 knurled nut. This tool fits the nut snugly but has a rubberized grip that hits the rotor so you don't get a good grip on the nut and it tends to slip off. The tool feels solid and quite heavy, if the size I needed was on the opposite end of the tool (which is raised for 2 different sizes) it would work fine. I either grind down part of the rubber grip or bend it. , or buy something else EDTIT: Cutting rubber is
