📝 Bienfang Graphics 360 Marker Paper Pad - 19x24, 50 Sheets Review

I've been an illustrator since 1983 and have used this paper before. So I know that very well. I use it exclusively to make pencils for my clients. I used to use it for my marker compositions, but now I draw on this paper with a pencil, scan it to my computer and that's how I do the color work under the scan. This is not archive so you can expect it to yellow and become brittle over time. But if you need paper that you can see your back through, this is for you.

I am writing this because they say paper doesn't bleed which is NOT true. It will seep into everything underneath, potentially ruining other paper or surfaces! This false advertising is just ridiculous. The paper is quite thin, but so far has held the marker ink well. Thinness in itself is annoying. Since I can't draw on the pad or ruin the 2 sheets underneath I have to draw on the board and most of mine have markers and such. I can't just focus on the blank page, it's almost like a tracing…

This is an excellent paper. It's a bit pricey for me (although a lot cheaper), it handles graphite, ink and marker without bleeding. I especially like the light weight, brightness, smoothness and transparency. It doesn't feel cheap like tracing paper, although it can be used as tracing paper if needed. I do a lot of character design and animation, and my basic sketches are always drawn on an 8.5 x 11 notepad. If you erase a lot while drawing, the lines come off very easily and don't get stuck…
